“Ring out the old, ring in the new, Ring, happy bells, across the snow: The year is going, let him go; Ring out the false, ring in the true.” - Alfred Tennyson
It is symbolic after all... In The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy , supercomputer Deep Thought takes millions of years to compute the ultimate answer - 42. A number that seems meaningless because the question was missing. Similarly, in life, we want to know the ultimate answer, want to understand our destiny, our purpose, our life - but we are too afraid to question, to ask the relevance of everything. The answer is always within us. It's the question that matters. Ask that. Ask better. Life will start making sense.
How does that matter as well... The answer could be 40, because one size doesn't fit all. Every body has a different path to follow, so different questions and different "ultimate" answers. Point is, as Douglas Adams says, "DON'T PANIC" - yes, in bold, darling. You are doing well. You are on the right path. Keep questioning. Answers are just round the corner.
Love. That's what matters It transmutes everything Even your ego. As you stand at the edge With ego's shadow Trying to overpower you Love whispers in your ear You love him He loves you Let that be the only Truth. Everything else Is illusionary Temporary Falling apart. What remains Is this knowing Bone deep You love him He loves you And That is Enough.
This song hits different. This. Papon version. When you find your lost love yet again. Yes, sometimes miracles do happen, you just need to believe in it with enough faith 💗.
I don't know who needs to hear this today, but I think everyone should... Love is the most powerful force In the entire cosmos Never stop believing in it Never stop being it Live it Till you feel it In your bones Till you, yourself Become love That's when The Universe will bow That's when The magic will happen That's when The beloved returns. Believe in love That's the only thing That matters Love you 💗
Food has its own language. As mundane as dal bhaat can evoke deep feelings of roots, home and simplicity. The converse is also true - high-end gourmet food - gives you the ultimate guilty pleasure. And then, there is always bread - the most uncomplicated food item on the menu - which can be shaped in any form. Often messed up - crumbling, burnt, buttered, cheesy. A lot like life, actually, love 💗. So, go ask your beloved, "Khana khaya?"
Good morning is not just a greeting. From your beloved, it is like a warm hug of safety and love, before the world throws you into chaos. It is a way of saying, stay with me for just a few more breathes. Let me feel you for real, as I feel you too. And then, we promise to return to this same breathe as we cross the threshold of our home again. That's some emotion, isn't it?
Some songs feel eternal... Especially when the moon shines the brightest. This one is one such gem. Tucking us in with love and warmth, and a soft forehead kiss - aur kya chahiye?
Some people are just... awesome. They don’t need to do much - their quiet presence, a well-timed joke, or that one-liner that lands like a chef’s kiss... it’s enough. Let’s raise a toast to them. To the ones who make life lighter just by being real. We see you. We hear you. And yes, we love you, babes. 💗
Some days, I’m fine is enough. Not great. Not falling apart. Just… fine. A warm cup, a half smile, a quiet playlist that knows how to wait. Not everything has to be figured out. Some days, being okay is the whole victory.
